What was your highlight of Black History Month? I haven’t been as active with lists this year because there were a lot of unexpected things happening in my life. I had to fly to New Jersey for a funeral and thankfully was able to get out before the snow storm. Work has been physically exhausting and I’ve been taking long naps after it most days. My Spanish classes were starting to get overwhelming so after this week, I’ll be taking a break until the summer. Also *waves hands* the general state of the world and life in the U. S. in particular has been draining all my creativity 🫠 But nevertheless, we persevere I love books by Black authors and making this list brought me so much Black joy 🥰 #blackhistorymonth #readblackbooks #blackbookstagrammer #booklist #readingrecs
