Hey y'all,

I've gotten so much exciting book mail recently! Receiving Elizabeth Acevedo's latest book feels like such a full circle moment because of how much I've loved her writing since I was a teenager. Anger is Only a Shadow is a mix of both verse and prose which sounds experimental and intriguing.

Speaking of full circle, I got sent the latest Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants: Collector's Edition. I absolutely loved this series as a tween and it's so exciting to have it spruced up with such pretty sprayed edges.

I loved George M. Johnson's All Boys Aren't Blue and I'm very curious about this follow-up memoir from them.

And on that note, I can't wait to dive into Deesha Philyaw's debut novel after the masterpiece short story collection that is Secret Lives of Church Ladies.

I know Katie Wu personally and I'm so proud of her publication journey. Madder Lake isn't coming out until 2027 and I'm so happy to already have it in my hands.

My cousin took Dead Girls from me the moment she saw it so I'll have to get back to you on that one but the teens are definitely into it.

XoXo,

Rae
