Hey y'all!

After tallying the votes, July's book club pick was chosen and it will be Kingdom of No Tomorrow by Fabienne Josaphat! Fabienne was born in Haiti and moved to the U. S. as a teenager. Kingdom of No Tomorrow is her second novel, a historical fiction about a Haitian woman who migrates to the U. S. during the Duvalier dictatorship of the 1960s and ends up joining the Black Panthers in California.

Fun fact: I actually know Fabienne personally (the South Florida Haitian community is super connected) so I'll ask her if she's open to questions from book club members.

I'm so excited to read this along with you all and I'm working on getting a Discord set up for us to chat about it. My copy is still in the mail so once it comes in, I'll put out an optional reading pace guide.
